... why I'm feeling so nervous about the game today...

I seem to have started to develop a cold.
Pretty much as I felt 12 months ago.
12 months ago (more or less) I had my face mashed.

At least I'm playing for the Spartans today, but boy, the subconcious / concious doesn't half make my face twitch.

*deep breath*

I'm sure it will be fine.

Although I wish I could find my back support still LOL (Not that that will help my face, but it may help my back!!)

But first, off to see [livejournal.com profile] poannie!

Now that was a great game against the Thebans.
62-0 I think was more or less the score.

Given I thought / think / know I have a cold coming on, and I was a bit tired, I played absolutely out of my skin.

Fantastic performance for me, IMHO, The Spartans and Thebans each as a team also played well / alright.
A few errors here and there, but an excellent referee (talked lots, told people where they were offside etc etc as best he could) - Excellent play.

Still - I am sure there will be a good few bumps and bruises in the morning as I got to put in some big big hits (almost winded myself once, but managed to wind the Theban number 3 instead).

Well chuffed, with the only exception is that I have work to do this evening, and right now, all I feel like is sleep.

Going to go see [livejournal.com profile] poannie and [livejournal.com profile] northerncutie first, then grab a nap, then see how I'm holding up to go to the Village and hook up with the teams.

Time to reach for the Life Force (TM) that is sugar free Redbull.
