It was the first image there that reminded me of him, and I saw his picture on the telly with the sound off, and I thought "Blimey, that looks just like a friend of mine from school Sohail".
Just now reminded myself whilst looking on the BBC website and though about it's wierdness again.
Googling around the resemblence was unbelievable, the name was right... the age was spot on, but I couldn't find a link to whether he went to school in Saudi.
And lo and behold, the Times article... He did indeed go to to school in Saudi, with me, Saturday to Wednesday to the S.A.I.S. Riyadh (British Section).
He was a sound guy.
Sohail Qureshi... What happened dude?
To be honest, for the memories of the guy that I knew, I sort of want to send him a letter to say hello...
Not entirely sure why, or what that would acheieve, but I just wanted to say "Hey, long time no see!"...
However, would he remember me? Would he acknowledge me, or is he even capable of saying "Hey, long time no see" any more?? (To me as a Westerner or something).
