Geek questions...
Nov. 2nd, 2005 10:27 pmAnyone had any fun with load balancing routers? (DSL x 2)
(Also, methods of having resiliancy of an ADSL connection, that if it fails, goes onto to dial up?) ((and extension of load balancing I know, but using DSL and analogue...)
Anyone recommend any other brand other than Draytek for ADSL routers with VPN support?
...err...
Oh yeah, and Blackberry providers...? (that give a decent amount of megabytes per month)
(On that remiding note... I need to work on OMA...Bugger).
(Will be googling around later, just need to take care of a domestics!)
Errr...
And that's about it for the moment... Other than to remark that a clients server survived a 12 foot drop on Monday night.
(Thieves broke through the floor of his office, right where the server was, which proceeded to fall into the basement...)
((I don't know how it survived with just scratches and a dent in the case - I've run HD diagnostics... and they report as fine! - but I am saying that he should claim on the insurance regardless!))
SMS Server 2003 looks like alot of fun, and something to really stretch the legs of the server we are going to stick it on (as well as MOM 2005!)
