For the record...
Apr. 8th, 2005 02:53 pm... I must write down (well, just in case I forget or need to know) -
Wednesday - I lost my male pill implant...
Or rather, it was the end of the trial, and had my last set of bloods taken, my last sample *ahem* given, and then the implant reasonably quickly and neatly taken out of my arm under a local (although it did require some tugging at as it wouldn't come out!).
I'm quite missing its presence in my arm already, and I'm hoping I don't get the testosterone comedown like I have done from a previous trial.
6 more monthly meetings to check on things / make sure I am recovering, then its on to the next trial.
...Which is pretty cool...
Still - after that was a trip a bit down the road for my DXA scan (bone density) only to be told / warned that I would have to take all my metal out of my body... One pair was going to be fine, my tongue web was troublesome, as I knew once it was out, there was no way I was going to be able to get it back in... But out it had to come, or some metal in my body would really rather mess up a bone density scan!
(As an aside, I've got a fairly funky looking print out that I am going to scan in somewhere to show off my bones, its not the biggest of prints unfortunately, but still, I think it's cool).
So yeah - Out of the DXA scan, phone call to Manchester piercing, quick nip in to get that put back in, and checking that this weekends plans are still "go go go" (which they are, but more about that later).
Then to race back home for a mechanic to have a look at my car(s), whilst phoning my car insurance to renew my insurance (all good fun - Especially for a new and improved quote of £220 a year, fully comp, all mods declared, third party on other cars etc etc etc).
All this before 10:30am. Mad busy day.

loosly for lunch, racing up to Bolton, doing 6 hours work on a new install for a client, racing back to say hello to loosly in the pub with schmelen and laura_chanteuse and race off home to do some more work...
Madness.
