... a new tooth ache - thanks to there being 'too much filling' been put in, I'm sure it will get sorted next Thursday after the other two fillings are done.

But it's still bloomin annoying as my jaw won't close shut as it used to, its a bit lob sided... and causing me to bite too hard when I'm eating.
C'est la vie.

Still - Woke up late - annoyingly - off to the house in a mo to do some work on the house - then back later to go out with [livejournal.com profile] kerrykat to go for a meal with friends on top of the Pennines - Must make sure the next few hours are productive to make up for me staying too long in bed!
... for my silly money brain...

When you can't get an APR rate from a company, but a rate per month, how do you turn it in to an APR?

E.g. - Apparently 13.9% APR is 1.094% per month -

So - Whats 1.168% per month in APR?

(Just trying to do some money math to reduce my outgoings and stuff!) as I've had some interesting news with regards to my house, and if I can get about £4K together, I can have my house repiped, rewired, kitchens levelled, chimneys fixed, and bricks repointed and also CENTRAL HEATING (by way of a combi boiler getting rid of the heater in my kitchen - and also removing the boiler / heater thing from my 2nd bedroom giving me either a closet *woo* or a bit more space again!)!! - So - Essentially - giving the *real* possibilities of being able to rent out the front room (after all - who'd rent out a house with only an electrical convection / oil heater for room heating??)

But yeah- Thats a cash price of about £4K, and thusly, I need to rejig some finances and arrange a longer term loan, gambled off against the value of my house, minusing but shedding credit card APR's for secured loans (but then, I've got to figure out how secured loans work on MSN rather than personal loans - as I gather rates are lower?? But it seems the terms have to be longer, or the amount you borrow larger or something).

Humm... Maybe I need to go see an independant financial advisor to be able to find the best solution or something... *shrugs*

But I still need to find out the APR translation rate thing - (if you know)

Sorry - a lot on my mind this morning... I'll hammer T. and S. for their advice later on, as they both work for a bank!
